Brand Identity of LokiLaunch date: December 22, 2005 Loki is a panel of instruments for the browser. Loki provides you information depending on where you are. For instance, if you decided to have a cup of coffee, just enter “coffee shop”. You will be shown a list of nearby coffee shops within a radius of 5 km. The customer set a difficult assignment for us – the Logo had to express the idea of diverse information being received based on the person’s location. After having sifted through numerous options we decided on two: an apple and a target. The apple symbolized «delicious» and useful information and the target signified the location. However the corporate style required one choice only. Like botanists, we followed the path of selection and cross-bred the apple and the target - within 30 minutes the target in the form of an apple materialized. We showed the variety of information symbolized in the logo by using 2 colors: green and yellow. The upshot was an attractive, modern and easily-recognized logo.
