SC Pakhtakor Website

The “Pakhtakor” (which means “Cotton Picker”) football club has been around for almost fifty years and is among the best known clubs in the countries of the former Soviet Union. It is also the National football (soccer) team and the ultimate favorite of all football (soccer) fans in Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan–Lichtenstein joint venture “Pakhatakor” unites the national football team, a children's football school, a stadium and numerous shops.

The purpose of building the information website www.pakhtakor.uz was to raise interest towards football among the fans, children and investors, as well as information dissemination about events occurring in both Uzbekistan and the world football.

The website produced a burst of emotions among football players, fans, journalists and other interested people who sent an enormous number of letters and emails with feedback, questions and messages to the club’s press service.

Negotiations on cooperation between the joint-stock company Pakhatakor and some potential overseas investors and partners are underway. Shops selling sports goods receive unplanned profits. Sports news published on the website are often cited by other news websites.

As a result of working on this website the eSector team has become a true expert on the history of the “Pakhatakor” sports club having collected an immense volume of information about the club, its history, players, coaches and matches.

The website has many dynamic sections: news, reviews of Uzbekistan championship and the Champions' League, various statistical information. Photos of players and the most exciting moments in historical football matches are wildly popular destination for the site visitors and football fans, so we tried to include as many historical and modern photographs into the section as possible. On the website, you can find answers to the questions, which are most important to football fans. You can also ask your own question.

In the online “Store” section, you can order the paraphernalia of a true fan with the symbols of the favorite football team: a complete set of the football uniform, a scarf, flags, a trumpet, badges, trinkets and calendars.

The website is created to reflect the Club’s corporate colors and style. For each section our designers created a great number of unique and easy-to-remember icons. You can hardly ever lose his way navigating around the website, but you can easily lose the count of time browsing it.
